ARENAL VOLCANO AND HOT SPRINGS

The Arenal Volcano is one of the most active and spectacular volcanoes in the Americas. At the our observation point you may feel the ground tremble and see the ash and lava from the volcano.

• Pickup in the morning at major hotels in San José.
• Visit the fascinating craftsman factories in Sarchí, where they build the famous oxcarts of Costa Rica, wood furniture, plates and other forms of folk art are crafted and sold.
• En route, stop in the mountain town of Zarcero, famous for the sculpted in cypress trees. Lunch served in Zarcero.
• Visit the hot springs, where you may relax in the soothing waters and be caressed by the cool night air while observing the stars and the incredible night sky above the volcano (weather permitting).
• In the evening you will enjoy a splendid buffet dinner before your return to San José.

Departure time: between 9:00 and 9:30 a.m. approx.
