During the Combo Tour, we will take you to a third-generation coffee plantation and show you how coffee is picked, milled, ground, and roasted. Once you’ve found out first hand, or cup, why Costa Rica is known for its coffee, it’s off to the Poás Volcano. This volcano is one of the four active volcanoes in Costa Rica. The crystal blue sulfur pools will amaze you along with the steam rising from the various volcanic vents. But, that’s not all... our last stop is La Paz Waterfall Gardens. Your personal tour guide will take you through the butterfly observatory, the hummingbird garden and the waterfall trails. Our Butterfly Observatory is the largest in the world reaching heights of 50 feet; this enclosed structure allows butterflies to soar freely while guests walk amid the natural habitat. Our Hummingbird Garden attracts 24 different species of the birds, more species than any other in Costa Rica and quite possibly the world.  Lodging in San José.

Day 3 Tortuga Island Cruise Calypso: Early in the morning we pick you up at your hotel to take you to the Pacific Coast. During the ride, we serve breakfast, and you will be able to view coffee and sugar plantations, along with Brahman cattle in an ever-changing panorama. Upon arrival in Puntarenas, you will board the Manta Raya Catamaran, designed from the ground up with passengers and this tour in mind. Manta Ray features an underwater viewing window, fresh water showers, and a full bar. The spacious air-conditioned main salon combines an expansive deck area, which includes two Jacuzzi pools and enough space to comfortably view the ocean on the way. Fresh tropical fruit and drinks are complimentary throughout the sailing. Once at the island, disembark directly on the beach and be enchanted by it's immaculate white sand beach and turquoise water, a perfect stop for swimming, snorkeling and Calypso's famous lunch. A sumptuous delight, starts with a "ceviche" appetizer, followed by a medley of salads. The main dish is a delightful bar-b-qued breast of chicken covered in a mouth watering tropical sauce, accompanied with julienned vegetables all cooked fresh on the grill by our expert crew. Overnight in San José.

A show will take you back to our nineteenth century’s traditions. In addition it will get you to know our beliefs, dress, architecture, music, food and dance. Discover Costa Rica’s traditions at Pueblo Antiguo. The different buildings in this unique theme park highlight the various architectural trends found in Costa Rica between 1880 and 1930. The main objective of Pueblo Antiguo is to revive Costa Rican traditions in a similar context.
